As we gear up to celebrate International Women's Day on March 8th, it's a time to reflect on the incredible achievements of women around the world and to show our support for those who are tirelessly pursuing their dreams. This year, we're shining a spotlight on the inspiring young women in the barrel racing community who exemplify determination, grit, and resilience.
In the world of barrel racing, names like Hailey Kinsel, Sherry Cervi, and Martha Josey are synonymous with excellence and championship titles. Hailey Kinsel, for instance, burst onto the scene and captured hearts with her exceptional talent at a young age, starting her barrel racing journey at just 6 years old. Her meteoric rise to success includes two consecutive WPRA World Championships and numerous other prestigious titles, inspiring countless young riders to chase their dreams fearlessly.
But amidst the glittering arena lights and thundering hooves, there's one young lady whose story embodies the true spirit of perseverance. Ryder Moon, born a preemie weighing just 4.8lbs, has been a fighter from day one. Her mama knew from the beginning that she was a force to be reckoned with, a spitfire destined to leave her mark on the world.

Ryder's journey into the world of barrel racing began at a young age, fueled by her unwavering determination and passion for horses. Despite the odds stacked against her, she fearlessly pursued her dreams, never letting her size or circumstances hold her back.
And that's where we come in. As a community, it's our privilege and responsibility to support young women like Ryder as they chase their dreams with courage and conviction. That's why we're rallying together to raise funds through a special raffle event, with all proceeds going towards helping Ryder and her mama on their journey.
The raffle prize is an exclusive photo session in my studio, valued at over $1100, supporting Ryder's journey to NBHA. Tickets are $25 each or 5 for $100. The raffle will be held at 6pm on March 8th via Facebook Live. You can purchase tickets through me by messaging me or by calling 775-750-0683.
But this isn't just about winning a prize. It's about making a difference. It's about showing young women everywhere that they are capable of achieving anything they set their minds to. It's about empowering them to embrace their strength, their beauty, and their limitless potential.
As the founder of this initiative, my why is simple yet profound. I believe in the power of photography to empower women, to remind them of their inherent worth and beauty. I've had the privilege of knowing Ryder's mama for over 11 years, and I've witnessed firsthand the love, dedication, and resilience they embody each day.
So as we celebrate International Women's Day this March 8th, let's remember the importance of supporting women of all ages, backgrounds, and aspirations. Together, we can turn dreams into reality and empower young women like Ryder to reach for the stars. Because when women support each other, incredible things happen.
