Growing up 40 miles north of San Francisco in a suburban neighborhood located in Petaluma, CA, I never imagined I'd one day trade the hustle and bustle of urban life for the tranquility of country living. But in 2018, my hubby and I made the leap when we purchased our home in his hometown, on 42 acres of picturesque land in Southeast Georgia.

While the landscapes may have changed from busy traffic filled streets to endless fields and towering pines, one thing remains constant: my passion for capturing the beauty of life, wherever it may be found. My journey to photography began long before the age of digital cameras, back when film was king, and the idea of instant gratification meant waiting days (yes, days!) to see if your photos turned out or if you accidentally captured your thumb instead of the sunset. Ah, the joys of blowing on film cartridges and praying for the best! While my early photography endeavors might be aging me faster than a front porch swing in the Georgia heat, each blurry snapshot and overexposed family portrait served as stepping stones on the path to discovering my passion for freezing moments in time.
